Buyer
In this Agreement, the term “Buyer” refers to the individual consumer placing an order through www.alkosafe.com. The Buyer’s name, address, and contact information are collected via the order form.
Article 2 – Subject And Scope Of The Agreement
This Agreement governs the mutual rights and obligations of the parties with respect to the purchase by the Buyer of drug screening test kits, alcohol detection strips, and related consumables offered by the Seller through the website www.alkosafe.com.
Article 3 – Pricing
For orders placed from Turkey, all prices are quoted in Turkish Lira (TRY) and include Value Added Tax (VAT). Shipping fees and any additional charges, if applicable, are displayed separately before the order is finalized.
For orders placed from outside Turkey, prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). Turkish VAT does not apply. Any taxes, customs duties, and import obligations applicable in the Buyer’s country of residence shall be borne solely by the Buyer.
Article 4 – Order And Payment
An order is confirmed upon the Buyer adding the product to the cart, completing the payment steps, and approving the order. The Seller shall send an automatic order confirmation e-mail upon receipt of the order.
Accepted payment methods: Credit Card and Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Troy, UnionPay). All payments are processed through the 3D Secure security protocol.
Article 5 – Delivery
Orders shall be dispatched within 3 (three) business days of order confirmation; the maximum statutory delivery period is 30 (thirty) days. Delivery is made to the address specified by the Buyer via an contracted cargo carrier. A shipment tracking number shall be communicated to the Buyer by e-mail.
Shipping costs for domestic deliveries within Turkey are borne by the Seller. For international deliveries, all shipping costs and customs duties are the responsibility of the Buyer.
Article 6 – Right Of Withdrawal
The Buyer shall have the right to withdraw from this Agreement within 14 (fourteen) days of the date of delivery, without stating any reason and without incurring any penalty. Notice of withdrawal must be submitted in writing to support@alkosafe.com. Return shipping costs shall be borne by the Buyer. The Seller shall refund the payment within 14 (fourteen) days of receiving the notice of withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal shall not apply in the following circumstances:
—Products whose packaging has been opened by the recipient
— Products that have been used or contaminated
Article 7 – Defective Goods
Products are delivered in accordance with the declared technical specifications (sensitivity, specificity) and within their stated expiry date. In the event of delivery of an incorrect, damaged, or non-conforming product, the Buyer must notify the Seller in writing at support@alkosafe.com within 3 (three) business days of the delivery date. In such cases, the Seller shall bear the return shipping costs and shall provide a replacement product or a full refund. Issues arising from failure to comply with storage conditions or instructions for use are not covered under this provision.
Article 8 – Protection Of Personal Data
Personal data belonging to the Buyer is processed in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) for the purposes of processing orders, managing delivery, and fulfilling legal obligations. Personal data shall not be shared with third parties, except where strictly necessary with the cargo carrier and payment infrastructure provider. Article 9 – Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey.The competent court shall be the Consumer Court of Ankara.
Article 10 – Entry Into Force
This Agreement enters into force upon the Buyer’s approval of the order on www.alkosafe.com. By completing the order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and accepted the terms of this Agreement prior to placing the order.
